Put in bay: places to stay

My girls and I are planning to go to put in bay for the bachelorette party. I have found a couple of places that were decent, but wanted to ask if anyone else had some ideas or hidden gems. I am big on bars so I’d like to be close to where all the fun is going down. Also I want us to have a place that is updated and a splurge (since we are doing it in state we can). The hotels I have found nearest to the bars look older and do not have nice big suites. There are some great Airbnb’s but the walking distance seems like it will be a hike after a night of drinking. If anyone knows somewhere kinda like I described that’d be awesome! Also if you have any fun excursions you did while going to put in bay feel free to help a girl out!
