I posted a mini sneak peek awhile back from our 10/10/2020 Wisconsin wedding. We received our full album today and it was worth the wait! Here are some of my favorites!
We originally planned to have our wedding at a historic location owned by the state. We were notified June 2020 that we would need to reschedule our wedding because of COVID. Not wanting to change our date, we accepted the full deposit refund and started researching Airbnb’s in Door County, WI. With 4 months to go, we found a modern/romantic Airbnb right on a heart shaped lake and nearby many sweet spots! With the hosts approval, we rented it for the weekend and switched our focus to narrowing the guest list to immediate friends/family. This ended up being a good thing because the wedding was more intimate and I had the time to soak everything in. We rented a local Mexican Food Truck which was so fun and delicious! Also, possible because of the much smaller guest list. Totally recommend! At the end of the day, I’m happy we had to change our plans last minute. It was incredibly stressful at first but things seemed to fall into place once we decided to go with the flow. So my advice is to not sweat the small stuff. Do what makes you/your partner happy, not everyone else. It is your day after all. Utilize ETSY and all of the wonderful sellers on there! So many treasures to be found!
