Postponing wedding

Me and my fiancé were supposed to get married next weekend april 7th 2024 but we postponed the wedding due to personal issues. I kept telling myself that it’s fine we can get married anytime if anything we can just go to city hall get married and have a small party afterwards. But as the day approaches it gets more painful because it was something that i was truly happy about and something I really wanted. I was excited to look for dresses and plan the wedding and putting a stop to this to figure out some personal things is hard to do.

We all make choices that are best for us and I would just kindly remind yourself your instincts are right. Take each emotional day one day at a time, and spend time together being loving. You're both doing the best you can. Whatever was, was the old plan. You have better days ahead.
