Planning for Belize honeymoon!

Smarie1993, on March 15, 2022 at 2:58 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 5
Looking for tips from anyone who has traveled to Belize. Neither my fiance or I are big on beach lounging with cocktails, but I'd like to do it at least a little during our honeymoon. We mostly want adventure, so I figured Belize is a good place to go for this. We aren't much into luxury, so we aren't worried about fancy hotels or anything like that.
That said, we have 2 years to plan and I'd like to plan as much as possible as soon as possible so we can save up for it.
We are wanting to stay at least a week, but would 2 weeks be too much? Where is the best area in Belize to stay to experience a variety of things? We want to snorkel as well as do a tour of the jungles, rivers and temples they have. I don't want to do a ton of commuting every day to each activity we want, so would it be best to find lodging in one area for a few days then travel to a different area for a few days?

Definitely talk to a travel agent!!! They can help you with all of these and answer all the questions you have.

Thanks! Definitely going to. This will be my biggest travel ever and it's intimidating. I realized I'd rather just pay someone to help us figure it out!

Travel can be so stressful; there's so many options and it can be so hard to narrow it down! That's what travel agents are for though. It's what they do for a living and if you tell them what you want, they can give you some options. And travel agents do NOT charge an upfront fee. They get paid when you actually travel; it doesn't you anything additional.
