Planning a wedding with a $5000 budget

Alanna, on May 28, 2019 at 9:49 PM Posted in Connecticut Planning 0 2
I need recommendations for planning a CT wedding on a $5000 budget. So far I have an idea on how to get the dress, flowers, cake, and food caterer for a decent price but am falling short on a venue. As soon as I mention "wedding" these insane prices are given to me. Our guest list is 30 people. We are open to churches for ceremony but no classes please. Help!

    Hi Alanna!

If you’re searching for an inexpensive venue, I would recommend you search online for local park and community centers! These could be great options!

Are there any in your local area you can think of to contact?

If you don't mind doing most of your decorating, you maybe able to use a local VFW - but you would need to contact them to see their availability. If you are doing a church wedding, some churches have a room that would accommodate 30 people for a reception space.
