Personally when i go on any trip i usually look up itineraries. for instance i am going to seattle in a couple months for 3 days and so i would google stuff like "3 day seattle itinerary" and SO MANY things pop up! and from those itineraries i build my own! it's because it gives me better insight on what's close around and what people largely do, etc. a lot of the times they are planned very well already and provide a lot of insight and advice as well and a lot of them even map things out already.

i've been to hawaii before and i did that also! e.g. like 7 days in oahu, etc.

I’ve looked at web sites but not sure of which islands to visit. I am interested in 2 or 3
I want a relaxation/beach, water stuff, sightseeing, sunsets , hiking
I have 2 weeks including travel time and want it all!!

Oahu is going to be busier and the Waikiki area is very touristy. The resort areas on other parts of the Island tend to be nice.
Lots of people spend time on a couple of different islands, so you can get a variety.

Start with your budget (Oahu would be cheapest)

Decide if you want more fast-paced/things to do (oahu/waikiki) , or perfectly happy laying on a beach/by the pool your entire trip (outer islands)

You can island hop by plane (no inter-island ferry)

Make sure you schedule pre-travel tests 72hrs prior from a pre-approved vendor

I've never been to Hawaii, but another option aside from the great ones you've already gotten is to hire a travel agent. They don't charge the consumer for their services as the usually make their money by commissions from the airlines/ hotels when you book. They can usually find some great deals as well.

She is very well known by me. Number 1 recommended travel agent in the Brides of Long Island Facebook group 14,000 members) . My fiancé and I are very picky about travel accommodations, his job has spoiled us a bit. She’s honestly amazing

Actually due to covid Waikiki hasn’t been as busy as it normally would be so if you wanted to check out that area as well it’s up to you... but I do recommend no more or no less than 72 hours before your flight you take a covid test and it has to be positive before your flight... you also have to upload your positive test results to a state website in order for you to be able to freely travel around the state if you do not follow those steps you have to do an automatic 10day quarantine w/ daily check-in and all that crazy stuff.

Elopement / honeymoon / vacation in Maui all in one for us haha. I’m working with a wedding planner who has been helpful when it comes to location/things to do but ultimately it’s been a lot of a Reddit board discussions and Google searches. The hotel we booked was a recommendation from a Reddit board discussion and I’ve also reached out to contacts currently living in Hawaii as well as those who’ve been multiple times for suggestions. Putting together a DYI itinerary is much cheaper but does take lots of time and research. If your goal is ultimately to just sit back and relax and show up on the day of then I’d def invest in a travel agent!
