What photographer did you use?

Did you like them? Did they fit well in your budget?

Is it worth the cost to have a 2nd shooter?

Thanks Smiley heart

    Hey there, Annajoy Smiley smile

Have you booked your wedding photographer yet?

Having a second shooter is like having another set of eyes at your wedding and ensures nothing is missed during the day. When you consider everything that will be going on during the getting ready process, ceremony, reception and in between, the second set of eyes can be fantastic. Is it within your budget to have one?

Depending on where in MD you're getting married, but I really enjoy Lisa Matthews photography. She's located in Cockeysville. We are getting married in Kent County and are using Erin Wheeler as out photographer. Hoping the pictures turn out great (fingers crossed).

I'm currently using Jackalope Photography as my photographer and she's great. We haven't gotten married yet but we did a mini camping shoot with our dog with her already and the pictures came out great. She's not only into photography but does graphic design as well. Located in Annapolis and has a lot of creative ideas for shoots. I'm excited about our engagement pics, love her ideas!

She offers a 2nd shooter but we haven't decided on that just yet. The 2nd shooter to me is a 2nd pair of eyes but really used for like cocktail hour. So if you have 2 then you can get those shots of your guests at cocktail hour while your wedding party pics are being done. Also good for if you and the grooms getting ready locations are far apart. For us we'll be in the same hotel but different floors. Another photographer we thought about using suggested doing an hour and a half cocktail hour so she could get us and then we could enjoy the last 30 minutes of cocktail hour with our guest and get bonus pics. So it's really up the the size of you venue, like how much they'll need to move around and maybe guest count. 250 plus yeah I'd say swing for 2! On the flip side, if you have a really skilled photographer you won't need 2! Good luck!

We are using Kevin Ewing Photography for our photography, videography, and photo booth. He is amazing! For our minimony we are using his assistant photographer (they also did our engagement photos)
