Person of Honor Wardrobe

It's whatever you want. While I think it may be fun to have him in a different but complementary suit from your groom and his best man, it may actually make your man of honor stand out more than the groom, who should be the one standing out more.

If you and your FH both only have one person standing up with you, I would recommend similar suits/tuxes for the two of them with colored accents (ties, pocket square, vest, etc.). If you want, they could be in the same accent color or different ones. I would recommend your FH be in complimentary but distinctly different attire. Depending on formality and season, this could be achieved by the two best men going without their suit jackets and your FH wearing one. Or the two of them going without a vest and your FH wearing one. Maybe your best men are in black and your FH is wearing color. You have plenty of options!

All of our guys wore the same suit.

If you want him to look a little different, he could wear a tie that matches the bridesmaids dresses (if the groomsmen aren't already doing that). But I would have him wear the same suit and just add different accessories.
