I'm getting married 10/17/2020 in Green Bay and I'm really struggling with the hotel situation. Our reception is at Tundra Lodge, and we do have a 15 room block there. The problem is that we will have a lot of guests from out of town and I would like to get another block at another hotel (ideally a more affordable option for those on a budget). Since our wedding is during Packer season, hotels in the area all quote 2 prices (one for a normal weekend, one if there's a Packer home game). The prices are astronomical if there's a home game though!
Basically what I'm wondering is this. Would Appleton be too far for a hotel block? I know many people stay in Appleton hotels when they travel to Packer games (even the opposing team stays in Appleton), but are people really going to want to drive on 41 after being at a wedding all night? Does anyone have reccommendations for hotels in Green Bay?
