Overwater villa Jamaica vs Maldives???

Tatiana, on August 11, 2019 at 2:18 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6
We want an all inclusive honeymoon.....however, we also want excursions.....we are deciding between sandals royal Caribbean over water villa or Lux (north or south atoll) resort Maldives. What is there to actually do in the Maldives?

I was debating between Sandals Resorts and Maldives as well. I feel like Sandals has more to offer. At the specified location for Maldives, there's a few things you could actually do but nothing like specifically excursion type, necessarily. There's definitely different land and water activities but it just seems like more of a relaxed type location than anything else. My FH and I decided to go with Sandals but we will be going to St. Lucia.

I agree there's definitely more land options in Jamaica.....I wish the over water villas were at montego bay instead of royal Caribbean. However, we would get the stay at 1 play at 3 option

YES! That's one of the reasons my FH and I decided on St. Lucia. We have the stay at 1 play at 3 option as well. Idk if that's how all of them are (or maybe just select ones). What makes you like Montego Bay more over Royal Caribbean?

Reading reviews it seems montego bay typically draws a younger crowd than RC....and they have a bigger property

I love the Maldives, they are absolutely incredible, but depending on where you live it will take 19-35 hours to get there one way. Everyone always tells me that they were exhausted after their wedding and the were glad they had a short drive / flight or wish they didn't go so far. Just something to consider!
