Over 40 Bride

I am over 40, but we did elope when I got pregnant. We are renewing our vow, and this is our 1st “real” & planned wedding. We have 2 adult kids and 1 minor kid now. Sometimes I feel insecure inside, because I don’t look that great anymore with my age. I wish we did this 10 years ago 😔

I’m over 40 as well! Life is just not a one size fits all for who does what when, as hard as that was for me to learn over the years!

Both my fiancé and I are over 40, have never been married, and have no kids. We met each two years ago, but this relationship was sooooo worth the wait!! I’m a firm believer in delay is not denial; we’re prime examples.

I’m 61, second marriage for us both. He never had a wedding so it’s a big deal for him. Me too as I get to marry the love of my life.

View Quoted Comment Very true I used to have other friends make comments like you’re single until you are truly married and a relationship isn’t real until you’re married well 18 years later here we are stronger than ever and because of age at a great place in our relationship. Some of those same friends have gotten married divorced and single again yet we are still standing strong. Congratulations to you😊

Over 40 and first time bride - nothing at all wrong with it. My first fiancee passed away 18 years ago and I never found anyone that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with until I met my FH.

Once I hit 40, I wasn’t sure marriage wouldn’t be in my cards but I continued to date and a few years later, finally met my match. ♥️ He was in he’s 50’s (2nd marriage), which I liked because we both wanted an untraditional wedding (he had a traditional one the 1st time). 🏴‍☠️

In the years since, I was not going to cut myself short to settle for someone who I could not imagine a forever with. I couldn’t even find someone I wanted to spend much time with at all! Now I found someone who I cannot imagine my life without. It all works out.

Hi there! 50 years old and we too are the Brady Bunch - sadly we do not have an Alice though lol! Second marriage here for both us. We have four teens between us (2 in high school, 2 in college). We have been together for four years and just stated planning for a July 24, 2021 wedding. Do you have a date yet?
