It can be quite difficult to find a venue who allow external caterers due to the liability concerns which can arise.

What I would advise is that you speak with the caterer you’ve chosen, and ask what outdoor venues they’ve catered at before. This way can save you a lot of time reaching out to local venues which don’t allow external caterers!

Have you chosen the caterer for the wedding yet? Who is it?

There is a venue in Smyrna, DE called Belmont Hall, they do allow outside caterering as long as they are licensed and etc. Take a look at their website. They dont charge very much either. I'm looking into them for my wedding in Sept. 2020
