Where are my fellow Orlando, Florida brides going to get their wedding dresses?? I am on the hunt for a dress under $1,000. I would prefer a small/local business.

I found my dress at David’s bridal in winter park so I’m probably no help.

There is a place called Lily’s bridal outlet, there are a few in downtown winter park but I know the one I went to started at $2500, which was way out of my budget. I ended up at M & B Bridal in Melbourne, they were absolutely wonderful!! I’m not sure what their dresses start at but mine was on sale and under $1000. It’s worth the drive, you can check out their Facebook page they always post photos.

I hit a lot of stores in Orlando and loved and purchased my dress The Bridal Gallery Team. Great service and large selection.

I’m sure your dress is great! I am a small business owner, so I am looking to support another small business. 😊

I highly recommend using Anomalie if you have 7 months or so to go before your wedding. They are based in CA but will make you a custom dress for a very affordable price.

I know ‘custom’ sounds expensive, but they made me my dress plus an overskirt for $1600, completely customized. When I took it for alterations the tailor said it would be valued between 10-15k off the store rack.

Great quality for sure. And while I paid over your price, that was for basically two dresses and several layers with appliqué. If you have a simpler design it doesn’t hurt to have the free consultation and get a quote.

    Highly tecommended.

While I love this idea, my friend ordered hers through this site and she wasn’t as lucky as you. When she received her dress, she ended up having to pay $500 in alterations so I’m afraid to go that route. I’m sure there’s an abundance of pleasantly pleased brides who have gone this route, but....yikes!! 😬

I went shopping in NC, but if you look for bridal consignment you will definitely find what you are looking for! I got a David Tutera ballgown for $650 because it was a year old and the bridal salon sold the floor sample to the bridal consignment place. Its GORGEOUS and there is no way I could have afforded it otherwise! Good luck!

If you're willing to drive a bit, Aurora Bridal in Melbourne has an amazing selection! You could also try on dresses that may be a little over budget and then go on Stillwhite.com or Oncewed.com and find the dress you like for cheaper. I just got mine from Oncewed and it's amazing and I got it for $1500 cheaper than it was originally sold for!

Lily's Bridal near downtown Orlando on East Colonial. They have really good selections and I was able to find a dress for under $1000.

I found my dress at David’s Bridal in Altamonte after visiting the store a second time on a whim. It was $499 and I LOVE it! Got super lucky! Keep your mind open to any and all options - you never know what might happen.
