I went to try on dresses for the first time today. I found a dress that I love and feels very me but I’m very indecisive and am having a hard time pulling the trigger. This was the first dress I tried on and I ended up putting it on again at the end of the appointment. I was almost brought to tears when I first tried it on. I love the top as I don’t like to reveal too much skin but I’m worried it’s not bridal enough. There is a 30 day return policy once I receive the dress. The pictures aren’t the best because it’s obviously not my size and the bust is way too big but what do you guys think, should I keep shopping or order the dress? Opinions 1

That is so bridal ! Why do you think it’s not bridal enough ? Maybe once you add accessories like a veil you’ll feel more bridal

Okay, DEFINITELY loving this dress, firstly.

Secondly, I could not for the life of me imagine myself walking down the aisle in any of the dresses I was trying on until I had a veil on. Then, suddenly, I could 100% picture it! I agree with Melle, try some accessories on. You'll be amazed. And this dress is beautiful Smiley smile

I think maybe because it’s not your ‘typical’ wedding dress, as in its different than anything I’ve seen brides wear. Looking back at the pictures though I think it fits my style perfectly. I think I’m just worried about committing to the first dress I tried on.

Thank you! I really think this might be the one. I think I just needed some confirmation from people other than my mom and sisters who did love the dress on me.

It couldn't hurt to go to another salon and try on more dresses. After about 30 dresses, I tried on the dress I ultimately ended up purchasing (sample sale, so had to buy on the spot). I still ended up going to a final appointment I had scheduled just to see if anything could beat it. One at that appointment got close, but ultimately the sample sale dress won. However, I will say I'm not an indecisive person, so having all of the options didn't confuse me, but rather validated what I was thinking.

It looks super bridal to me, especially with the lovely lace! Have you put on a veil yet? Any dress almost instantly turns into more of a wedding gown once you add a veil.

I have to ask what city you're in / what shop this is because that's very close to what I'd like in a dress. I love the halter idea because it a) cuts the need for a necklace, b) no pit stains, c) still has support for dancing

I did not try it with a veil. But I’m not sure I plan on wearing one as we are planning a very small 30 guest elopement style wedding.

It is bridal enough but I would at least go to 1 more shop. You’ll either love that one, or feel the love with another.

I think it’s beautiful! My dress i tried on at the first shop multiple times. Then went to another shop who said they carried that same so I could compare. I did and ended up going with the one I tried on multiple times! I just needed to think on it and be sure, and see it with a veil. Going back another day really helped because I felt overwhelmed the first time trying on and like I was making a huge decision without seeing others.
