Hi y’all-

My fiancé was just laid off without healthcare. We want to go ahead and get legally married so he can hop on my insurance, but our State’s courthouses are closed indefinitely. We live in TN. Do any of you know of any state or county with open courthouses?

Georgia's are open! Depending on where you are, the drive may not be too terrible!

Oh wow, I’m so sorry! That’s so stressful. Can do add him to your insurance as a domestic partner? My FH added me to his earlier this year. All we had to do was get a doc from his HR department, we signed it and got it notarized and he sent it back to HR. Might be worth looking into?

I'm sorry that happened! I don't know if it would be too far of a drive for you, but I live in Louisville, KY. (Jefferson County) Our courthouses are open.

Well the licensing is really the part you need and without the places being open you can’t obtain the license or file it so it’s kinda a rock and hard place situation
