On-site Hair/makeup near St. Joseph, mi

Hi Nikki! Have you checked for hair/makeup artists within an hour or two drive of St Joseph? You may be able to find one from Grand Rapids or Holland who is willing to travel (potentially at no travel fee, if it's close enough). I don't specifically know of anyone who does hair/makeup in that area, but it may be worth checking in those cities.

Try searching Instagram. You can probably find an independent artist rather than a salon.

Take a look at vendors on Instagram

The Knot often has many different vendors than WW, so I would also look there if you haven’t already. Vendors have to pay to be featured on the Knot or WW, so some only do one or the other, but not both.

I agree with Stacey. I used a combination of WeddingWire and The Knot to search for vendors. Maybe expand your search area as well.

Highly recommend using Instagram too. That’s how I found mine! Just look up #yourcityweddinghair #yourcitybridalhair and same with makeup

View Quoted Comment Erick did my makeup. He's based out of Grand Rapids so I paid a travel fee...but he did an amazing job. He's an actual makeup artist for local celebs, etc. Reasonably priced. His insta is Erickmakeup.

I asked for my eyes to be a little darker than normal. If you scroll through his insta you will see he can do any and everything.
