On a Budget and planning a Colorado Honeymoon. HELP!?

Elissa Dahl, on January 24, 2015 at 7:57 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 12

Hey everyone,

Looking for a place in Colorado to honeymoon. WE are on a tight budget and want at least a 4 day stay some where. The wedding is in Morrison and we will be leaving from my parents house in Westminster. Any Ideas, tricks, suggestions? anything will help!

Some other things that may help: we were looking at Estes Park (He has never been) but look like its too pricey. We were looking at a cabin honeymoon.

Try groupon or living social they always have good deals and usually have a good deals on hotels and things to do. Googled it and found some places don't know if it works for you though.

I don't know exactly what your budget is, but I don't think you should necessarily rule out Estes Park--there are some reasonably priced options. Of course, it depends on the time of year. Check out this place for example: http://stonebrookresort.com/

There are a number of cabin-type hotels along the same road, so I'd check those out.

I'm biased because my FILs live in Estes Park, but it's so amazing there, and the proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park is great.

I really love using airbnb.com . I use it every time I go out of state, and choose to stay at homes with apartments with private entrances. It's terrific!

Breckenridge is awesome, and can find lots of great deals during the summer.
