Okay ladies, Aruba, Turks and Caicos or Jamaica?

We (read: I) are leaning towards Turks & Caicos.

Aruba seems to abduct Americans and Jamaica has super high crime rate.

I love Aruba! I think you'll have a higher chance for rain/hurricanes in Jamaica.

I LOVE Jamaica! I go every year We're doing Hawaii for our honeymoon, though.

Barcelo Bavaro in Punta Cana is a fantastic resort! We honeymooned in Antigua. We stayed at a Sandals. Loved it! Price was, Dominican cost us $3,400 for everything (flights, taxes, all-inclusive) for 6 nights. Antigua cost us $8,000 for everything (flights, taxes, all-inclusive) for 9 nights. We are going to Cabo in November for 6 nights. That will cost us about $3,000 for everything.

Aruba!!! 2nd choice Turks & Caicos..

Never been there, but I would pick Turks & Caicos!

Havent been to Aruba or Turns & Caicos so I can't comment there but we love Jamaica. There is crime there but we normally do all inclusive and only leave the resort for planned excursions. We've been to Secrets St. James and Sandals Whitehouse. Sandals is opening a new resort in Grenada so we're considering that as an option for our honeymoon. Good luck planning!

We are looking at T&C... at Grace Bay.. will cost about $6k for 9 nights, no food.

Jamaica!

Been to Grand Turks in Turks and Caicos and it is a small beautiful island. The water is beautiful!!!!!!!

Only drawback is that it is a small island and not much to do. We took a cab into the "city" and it was anything to write home about! LOL

Lol we were afraid of that! It's like ... a beach sounds SOOO AMAZING, but when you're there for a week, you want to actually DO things other than lay on one! So far I think Aruba is gaining points as long as we can find fun and adventurous things to do. But my advice to you guys, seriously look at www.costcotravel.com!!

Turks and Caicos. My family goes there once a year and I LOVE IT! So beautiful, the food is wonderful, the people are pleasant and the beaches/water are beyond blue and clear. I would go again in a nano second.

Turks. Beautiful; great scuba

I've stayed at Ocean Club West, Ocean Club, and most recently Seven Stars.

Seven stars is my favorite but is it expensive

Ocean Club West is a nicer resort to stay at (nicer beach as well, nicer rooms) but the original Ocean Club has my favorite food out of the two. The beds are hard but truthfully at all Caribbean resorts they seem to be that way.

Most of the resorts (besides Club Med) on Grace Bay are really nice.

I booked all my trips through private tours - Scuba diving and snorkeling is great and you can ride horses on the beach which i recommend doing. It's a great time. We always use Provo Dives for diving and I think there is only the one horse place so book early if you want to do that.

It really depends on what you want to do on your honeymoon.

Turks is beautiful, however there are no Adult Only All Inclusive resorts, and it

could be very expensive to eat and drink, but the beaches are amazing.

In Jamaica and Aruba, beach is beautiful both are very safe to go to.

In Aruba you can walk around and eat in many different places/

I absolutely love Aruba. My family goes once a year for a week in the winter. It holds sentimental value for me because of that.

My fiance and I went to Turks and Caicos last year for a few days. It was amazingly beautiful. I've never seen cleaner water in the Caribbean.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with Aruba or Turks and Caicos. I'd check out resorts and make your decision based off of that. I've never been to Jamaica so I can't speak about it.

CeCe, I have looked at the Seven Stars and Ocean Club West. Are there enough places around to go eat or do you need to walk far or grab a cab?

While I love the Seven Stars, I recently read that a lot of Condo owners from that complex just post their own reviews there to give it better ratings to increase the chance of renting out their condos. But it looks gorgeous anyways
