We originally had every intention of marrying in the Church however they have made it so difficult for us. We both compromised and have decided to get married under the gazebo at our beautiful venue (weather permitting). Booking our vendors has been a breeze, this is the part that we’re losing sleep over. We truly believe regardless of the rules the Church has implemented that our marriage will be valid. These rules are so rigid and having been Catholic my whole life, the Church has been turning away its own people. My cousin who is a Deacon told us his hand were even tied unless we opted for the Church ceremony. 😟

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty you're having. It's disappointing that you can't have your ceremony in the church, however, it sounds like you've found a wonderful alternative. The gazebo sounds like a beautiful, romantic setting.
