October 2023 brides: How's it going?

I started planning early 2020 and it feels like all of a sudden there's no time! I made the terrible decision to make all of my STDs and invitations, so we have to put the STDs together before we can send them. Hopefully they'll go out this week! Good luck on your vendor search.

What's your date?? We have our venue, photographer, and caterer. We are locking in our DJ hopefully today and then I think the last vendor is for the cake. Might be doing CostCo TBH! I haven't decided yet what I'm doing about hair and make-up but our photographer says he has a girl he can schedule to come with him. He has offered to set up an intro session if I choose that route.

For bridesmaids, I told them the color and length I would like so they can each pick out what works for them. But we haven't figured out all of the wedding party attire--I have my best guy friend and 2 best girlfriends standing with me and FH has his 2 daughters and brother. Do we want all the girls in the same color and the guys in the same color? Do we want my side in one color and his side in the other? Do ushers typically match the groomsmen in attire? AHHHHH

And then there's other details we haven't really tried discussing lol.

I am fine with doing one from CostCo, but I would like red velvet and I don't know if they do that.
