Hey Ladies. Anyone getting married in October 2020?
I'm getting married Friday October 23rd 2020 in Port Washington.
What have you planned so far? Where is your venue and what is your theme?
So far we have the guest list, bridal party, venue, the DJ and food are included at the venue. And I just bought our save the dates yesterday with vista prints current 50% off sale.
Would love to hear your wedding details

Hey Emily! I bet some of your month mates are coming soon! It sounds like you are well on your way to a well-planned wedding! How many save the dates are you sending out? Or how many did you order?

10/10/2020 Here! We will have our Ceremony at St. Stephens Church in Oak Creek and reception at Black Swan MKE in the Third Ward. We are having a Rustic Elegance theme (if that makes sense). Not too outdoorsy, as it would look funny with the venue, but with a hint of shabby chic. We have the venue booked, guest list pretty much nailed down, and the bridal party is all on board. Caterer will be booked this week and bartender will be booked within the next month or two. Have you gotten your dress?!?!?! I found mine a few weeks ago at Eva's Bridal in Oak Creek and it will be here in June.

That is soo exciting!! I love the oak creek area!
It sounds like you are well on your way with planning. What are your colors? What color will the bridesmaids be wearing?
My colors are burgundy, navy blue, blush, and rose gold. The bridesmaids dresses will be wine color.
I havent even gone dress shopping yet! I think i will wait till January/February to start looking. I think im going to check out davids bridal first and then evas!

We live in Oak Creek, so it was really convenient to find my dress there. I went to Davids before my Eva's appointment and found one that I liked but didn't give the "YES" factor. The stores are very much different.

Our colors are Biscotti and Burgundy and the men will be in Navy suits. We found some bridesmaids dresses at Davids that everyone agree'd on- which is nice because Men's Warehouse has the same colors.

That sounds really pretty! Which venue will you be using? Will you have your ceremony there too? How about the menu?

Hi hi hiiiiii! We're getting married on October 3rd, 2020 in Pepin, WI (the other side of the state lol) at Hidden Meadows. The only other thing we have picked out is the photographer! We don't have a specific theme per se, but our color scheme will be muted blues, perhaps tying in some soft purple tones, and letting the greenery of the scenery speak for itself!! We're going to invite 225ish, but since it's a destination for most of our friends and family, we're expecting ~160 to make the trek. My fíance lives in WI, but I'm in grad school down in Miami, so it's hard to go listen to bands, cake taste, etc from far away, but that's why there's so much time. It's just so exciting to start making decisions!! Congrats on picking out your venue and ordering your save the dates!! It's all starting to feel a little more real, right???

That's exciting! You have plenty of time but I can understand the feeling of wanting to plan everything right away.

Hi Emily! I'm getting married on October 17, 2020! Planning for Door County, haven't nailed our venue yet. My fiance and I are going camping there in June and hoping to find our venue! We're having a smaller ceremony with my best friend/maid of honors Mom officiating, and then having everyone else come to the reception (I hate being the center of attention), about 130 or less. We have our bridal party, colors (burgundy and navy blue), theme will be at the reception which is a lot of geeky/nerdy things and hopefully a photo booth! We have some of our music picked and I'll also be sharing a dance with my maid of honor to I'll Be In Your Heart from Tarzan lol. We also have our photographer picked, my cousin is doing both the engagement and wedding photos, we might have a videographer friend and DJ friend. I'm having trouble with flowers, and catering mostly, but I have time. Smiley smile

Hey ladies, I live in So Cal we are getting married 10.10.2020 we had to postpone or move our date from February 29, 2020 fi lost his job and it was the best thing for us. He starts a new one on Monday sigh of relief. We pretty much have everything except the caterer doing a tasting on Sunday. Our colors are Burgundy, navy, rose gold and champagne. One thing I good thing is that the weather should be amazing here, not too hot and definitely no rain. We are doing a 1920s/30s theme the Harlem Renaissance. Best wishes to you all.

    Happy planning
