So much unnecessary stress during an already stressful time! We were supposed to get married in August.

That’s no longer the case and while I’m truly devastated, I am so happy to never have to deal with how horrible the staff at OceanCliff was. They truly showed that couples are ONLY dollar signs to them and nothing more, regardless of a global pandemic.

I am so sorry for what you have been through! Hopefully you were able to find some sort of alternative for your wedding plans! Thank you so much for sharing your experience, we are looking to book, and OceanCliff was still on our list of possible venues; such beautiful views!; but if this is how they are treating their brides, we will have to think twice about choosing them.

We unfortunately parted ways with OceanCliff because even though it was our dream venue we couldn’t stand the thought of them having another dollar from us and only saw it going downhill in service once they did. They weren’t particularly attentive to us from the start—we had to reach out to them about just about everything—down to the tasting. I would encourage you to think twice if you want a more stress free experience. Coronavirus showed us their true colors, but the overall planning experience was not what you would expect for the price. I wish you all the best!! There are a lot of beautiful venues in Newport.
