Hi all - need some advice and or suggestions on handling catering in the NYC tri-state area. We have a budget of around 25k-30k and our guest list is roughly 140, realistically 120. We found a great space that is $8k for the night plus another 8-9k for an open bar. Is $10k realistic for catering?

Does that price include all the tables, chairs, linens, place settings, centerpieces etc if not than no I don't think 10k is enough. If the rentals are all included in that price depending on what you are serving and from where that can be doable. Are you planning on having photography, flowers, entertainment (dj/band), those things add up quickly. You might be better off finding a space that includes more so you are getting a little more bang for your budget. Best of luck to you!
