November honeymoon

Joelle, on February 26, 2020 at 10:20 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 7
Anyone have suggestions on where to go for a honeymoon in November? We’re getting married November 6 and so many places I’m looking into we’re interested in have bad/freezing weather that time of year, such as Alberta, Switzerland, santorini, Bali, etc. At this point I’m debating on waiting til spring of next year to go away

Why not go someone where that’s beautiful in the winter?

We got married in August, but did our honeymoon in January.

We did Disney/Universal, because Florida. It fluctuated between actually cold and nice weather, but the northeast was freezing, so we didn't mind.

Find someplace warm and go there!

I got married November 9 last year. We left for a 7 day cruise the next morning. Weather was perfect, warm but not choke the life out of you hot. Sure, it’s hurricane season, but most of the time it’s about done by early - mid November, even though the official end is November 30.

I've travelled to Mexico many times in November and it's great.
I have friends who go to Costa Rica in November and love it at that time.

Check out places that are more tropical. It is summer in Australia in November and it’s really nice in Hawaii and Central America! We are going to Hawaii in October

I've been to Germany and London, twice, in late November early December and it was Amazing! Yes it was a little cold, but I truly didn't stop me from doing anything that I wanted to while I was there. In fact, it was actually kind of awesome because there were way fewer tourists to contend with and it can be way cheaper! You will have to be prepared if you are going to a colder weather destination but I think it's worth it. P.S. this is coming from a born and bred Southern California girl!

I’m getting married November 6th as well! We had our hearts set on St. Lucia, but apparently November is their rainy season, so we decided to to a delayed honeymoon and go in January when the weather there is better. We felt it would be more special to go where we truly wanted a little later, than settle and go somewhere else just for the purpose of going immediately after the wedding.

We might do a little weekend getaway somewhere nearby after the wedding, but haven’t decided yet.
