I emailed the event director at the venue I wanted. She got backed to me right away. I’m signing the contract on May 1st. I can’t sign the contract before then because the event director is working from home due to all this craziness.

I would absolutely get tour venue locked in for 2021. With all of the postponed weddings this year it’s going to get harder to find a place for 2021.

We’re getting married January 2021 and I’m planning as normal as I can lol since I can’t go out to stores to buy anything right now. Think positive 💕💕

I’m planning as if my wedding is still happening in 2021. With all the postponements I wanted my date locked in so I contacted several venues for quotes and did virtual tours for some before deciding. The venue that I want not only holds weddings but it’s a popular venue for major events so they book fast.

I don't think anyone knows exactly how COVID-19 (or new strains) will play out. However, I agree with Cyndy's comment above. 2021 is likely to be a very, very busy year for weddings after all of the 2020 postponements are scheduled.
