Newport, ri Bachelorette Nightlife/dancing

Hey all! I'm planning a bachelorette for June 2024 and we're looking at Newport as a potential destination. General internet searches have produced some mixed results about the nightlife / club / dance vibe within Newport, RI.

Has anyone gone to Newport for a Bach destination and did you do any clubbing/dancing? We know Providence isn't unreasonably far away and we could stay up there and head down to Newport for daytime activities as an alternative but I was hoping for some real-life experiences of what we'd get it if we were in Newport.
