Newport Rhode Island Hotels

Taylor, on August 11, 2020 at 7:53 PM Posted in Rhode Island Planning 0 4
Hi all. Struggling with finding the right hotel situation for our wedding next year. We are staying the week in Newport, married on a Friday at Rosecliff. Newport is a unique situation with small room blocks and guests all over the town. Wedding night suites for us are expensive and scarce- anyone else have plans they'd be willing to share? We will be married in September 2021 at Rosecliff. Hosting a 3-day wedding weekend and personally staying for the whole week.

Thanks!

Hi Taylor! Are you looking for somewhere fancy for the wedding night? Or a place to stay for the whole week?

If you're locking down accommodations for the week I'd also take a look at house rentals through sites like Air BnB! You could also check out the Newport Marriott and the harbor hotels!

    Hi Taylor,

It is a little outside of Newport, right next to Newport Vineyards but check out the East Island Reserve Hotel.

You are just looking for somewhere for you to stay for the week? I don’t know how many nights you need a suite for but I booked the Atwater (small boutique) and I’m using it for the morning of getting ready with bridal party too. I didn’t have luck with air bnb despite the cheaper pricing bc many of them strictly prohibited more than a couple guests.

My sister go married in Newport over a 3 day weekend extravaganza, and we all stayed in the courtyard just on the middletown border. While it wasn't super fancy, it was reasonable priced, offered breakfast, and because they didn't have hotel bar, they let us party with coolers in the lobby all night long. we had a blast at our "afterparty" both the night of the rehearsal dinner and the night of the wedding. the staff was super accommodating and friendly as well. I would recommend it!
