New Orleans Ladies, Help!

Megan, on January 30, 2020 at 12:15 PM Posted in Louisiana Planning 1 2

So i'm planning a small (under 20 guests) wedding and our "reception" is just at a local restaurant since its a small group. We were trying to find somewhere to do a "after party" type thing for about half the group after dinner since that ends at 10. We have literally no idea where to go, we'd love to do some dancing but we don't want anything crazy, and I'm also torn about whether I should change out of the dress first. Any ideas?

I don't live in New Orleans but I travel there frequently. For dancing I prefer the places on Frenchman street rather than bourbon. Bourbon is often wild and packed. Frenchman street has less people and great places to hear live music and clubs.

Hey there, Megan! I 100% agree with Blair! For something else party-crazy, Frenchman Street would be a great option. It will be easier for your group also to stay together rather than getting split in the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street and the bars there!

Check out the area online and all the bars there are to choose from Smiley smile
