New help finding an affordable venue 2022

Jackelyn, on October 3, 2021 at 4:44 PM Posted in New Jersey Planning 0 2
We live in NJ and are looking for venues that are not too expensive. The guest is 80 and we are flexible with the dates. Looking for something under 10k. Please send any ideas of locations. Would like to have both ceremony and reception in the same place.

South Jersey is cheaper than North and Central. I got married in 2019 in Central Jersey and my country club venue charged $130 per plate back then for a Saturday evening. Any date aside from a Saturday evening will lower the price, if you're open to that. Also, different venues count different months in their peak season (for instance, July was not in peak season for the venue I chose but it was for others). Using the venue search on here and The Knot was super helpful. Venues sometimes will have their prices listed online, and they are typically responsive in sending them via email.

Is that $10k the entire budget (including dress, etc) or just the venue (catering, bar, table linens)? If it's the latter, I don't think you'll have that rough a time finding a venue in budget.

Thank you so much Hannah. I’ll check south Jersey locations. Less than 10k budget for just the venue preferably all inclusive.
