Myrtle beach/charleston Honeymoon ideas?

Tiffany, on January 21, 2020 at 11:36 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 7
We have our hotels booked for our honeymoon in April to myrtle beach and Charleston SC! I'm really excited to go. I've been to myrtle beach once or twice on day trips. We don't have anything planned than hotels! Anyone have any suggestions?

I know there's the shows in Myrtle beach. I've been to the pirate one twice and FH isn't interested in going to that or the medieval times one again. Id heard about an animal safari in myrtle beach where you can see animals and baby tigers but it was over $300 a person so I think that' going to have to be a no for us.
I've had lots of people suggest historical tours in Charleston, so we will probably do one of those!

Hi Tiffany, I live not far from Charleston and have done two week long vacations to Myrtle Beach. Both are great! As far S Myrtle Beach goes definitely check out Broadway at the Beach. There’s a lot to do and great for just spending the day together browsing the shops. They have the Ripley’s Aquarium there and me and my fiancé love it! They also have Dave and Busters which makes for a great date night playing games. If your looking for cheap but tasty drinks check out Fat Tuesday they have amazing slushees.

Hi there, I grew up in SC. Try to tour the battleship in Charleston harbor if you can, that was an incredible experience for me. Take the ferry to Fort Sumter if you are interested in history. There is another military bunker along the coast but I forget where exactly it is in Charleston. Also bus tours! They'll tell you fun things about the celebrity houses that are in Charleston, etc. "The Battery" Park is a good stop, it has these old gorgeous trees and you'll get good pictures.
As far as Myrtle Beach, go on the ferris wheel at night and you'll see all the lights and I'd imagine that would be romantic.

I'm from and actually still live here in Charleston. Exactly what the pp's said. Take the tours, walk around downtown and explore.
