Nice! Yes, it is definitely okay for them to rent a general tux. They do not have to have anything tailored.

I think that would be fine. You may want to give them guidance so that you're all coordinated. I would match point or shawl lapel (can't see from your pic), long tie, spread or cutaway collar. You don't necessarily have to match in color though black and midnight blue are the most commonly found. Up to you if you want them to have vests, though many modern slim-cut styles nix the vest and cummerbund. You can also use boutonnieres to tie in altogether. Congratulations on your engagement.

Yeah they can do that! My fiancé bought his suit and had it tailored how he liked and then he went to mens warehouse and set up what he wants the groomsmen to rent and wear. That way everyone matches

That tux looks great. It is proper for the groom to stand out in contrast to the groomsmen. It is just a choice whether to be matching styles or having the groom different.

Definitely ok for the groomsmen to have rented tuxes. My husband had his suit custom made but the groomsmen all had rented suits from Joseph A. Bank (photo attached for reference).

And they definitely don’t have to be the same style as yours. As Michael mentioned, it’s usually custom for the groom to stand out from the other guys, so if you’re cool with going that direction, I’d say rock it 😎

I'm getting mines made as well.... All I asked of my guys was to get their suits from the same vendor so we will be coordinated in style and material.
Our wedding is still a little ways out so I won't be ordering it until at least Mid 2023
