Multiple Registries??

Ana, on May 3, 2021 at 11:20 PM Posted in Registry 0 12

Hi folx! My FH and I are working on our registry(s) and want things from multiple stores, well, four to be exact. A couple lists have 10-15 items, and one store is our heavy hitter for our desired household items. What do you all think? Single registry? Multiple? Weigh in!

I think that's fine! If you want the registry to appear more organized, then you can use Zola or Blueprint and add all of the items from the different stores into a single registry, but I don't think that 4 registries is overkill. We used Blueprint and it was super easy to add anything we wanted from any store, but keep in mind you won't necessarily get the completion discounts if you go this route. So there are pros and cons to each

Think four is fine! We're doing three different registries but have them all compiled together. I would definitely second the idea of using Zola or a similar site to have everything located in one spot for ease of browsing.

I think it is fine. Having multiple registries gives guests options of where they can purchase a gift. I would also make sure you pick items of varying prices. We had registries at three different stores.

We had 3 different registries and I thought it was fine. It gives your guests options, which is always good. If you attach your registries to your wedding website, guests should be able to access all items from one page.

It’s pretty common to have 2 or more registries. Not all stores are located everywhere. You don’t need to collect them onto one shopping site. Just make a list of all the places on your website and guests can figure it out from there.

Make sure you have all price ranges from $2 kitchen utensils or bath decorations on up to whatever. Guests will find something they can afford. Have fun with it. Not everything has to practical. If you entertain a lot, register for a Margaritaville blender or card games or something for grilling.

We had two! We did Amazon for all the random things like pot protectors, a roomba, and devotionals and a separate one at Belk for towels, linens, and other home staples. They're both linked from my wedding website! I did notice that about 90% of the gifts bought so far have come from Amazon.

We have 3 registries and I put them all on my wedding website. So when people ask us for our registry info, I just send them our wedding website and direct them to the registries tab. So far this has worked well and people love it!

I had various items from various store that I wanted, so I used a site called MyRegistry. It lets you add items from anywhere online and has been a lifesaver! If not for MyRegistry, I'd have at least 8 different registries lol.

I just went to two baby showers last month and both moms-to-be had multiple registries. I think you can do that as long as its all clear on your wedding website.
