Modern or Traditional: Ceremony Songs?

Traditional, we are getting married in a church, so only Christian songs allowed.

Modern....a nice r&b song with some lovey lyrics.

We are actually walking down together to the song "The Very Thought of you". The music during the ceremony will be from the 20's and 30's to go along with our Harlem Renaissance theme.

We're using classical music, but with a modern twist. It'll be less known parts of movie scores.

Modern.

I’ll be walking down the aisle to “Loving You” by Minnie Riperton.

Modern! FH is walking down to “Something” by The Beatles (his favorite band!) and I’m walking down to “Moon River” (Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my favorite movies!) We we’re tired of hearing people walk down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” so we wanted to do something that had meaning to us.

Modern: We used songs played by The Piano Guys

We used a piano/violin version of John Legend's "All of Me" and the GTA Strings version of Lifehouse's "You and Me"

We'll be doing a mix of modern and traditional for the ceremony music.

Modern. I'll be singing a song while walking down the aisle. I can't wait to see my partner's face when he sees me!

Kind of both. Processional is Canon in D for the parents, A Very Respectable Hobbit for wedding party, and the bridal march for me. Recessional is Concerning Hobbits.

Both. Processional was Canon D. Recessional was He’s a Pirate (Pirates of Caribbean movie). And welcome entrance song was Yo Ho, A Pirate’s Life. 👍😁☠️

Modern. We picked instrumental versions of songs we liked.

Old School Modern. Walking down the aisle to Here and Now, Luther Vandross.

My dad and I will be walking down to traditional Canon in D. Mostly because that's what my mom wanted and I didn't really care haha.

Traditional. I want the experience of "Here Comes the Bride"
