Minimoon - Cape Cod or Portland, Maine?

I love Portland so that's my vote! Portland is actually super dog friendly, we've brought our frenchie with us there a few times and he was allowed in all the shops but not sure about airbnbs. We also went to Acadia national park last September and had the best time. It's beautiful in September, pet friendly and super affordable (just another suggestion).

I’ve never been to Portland, but I love Cape Cod! There is amazing food, great beaches (which in September you probably wont be laying out, but could still enjoy a walk!), you can take the ferry over to Nantucket which is beautiful! The Cape has a lot to offer as far as things to do, but is also super relaxing.

Portland is beautiful. If you have time, I'd take a trip up towards Bar Harbor which is even more spectacular. Arcadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain offer some of the best scenery I've ever seen. Additionally, at the peak of Cadillac Mountain is the first place to witness a sunrise along the eastern seaboard.

The Cape is a great honeymoon/minimoon spot for couples looking for a quiet romantic getaway. The area is filled with great ways to make memories with your special someone.
