Mini-moon Niagara Falls ny

I live in N.Y not that far from the falls. I've only ever stayed at the Seneca falls casino and I was very happy with my stay there. It's very clean, you got the casino, a little shopping mall inside, a nice places to get a drinks, pool, and a nice spa. The one thing I like is that only hotel guests can get on the elevators cause the elevators only go to the hotel rooms. They have security standing at a desk by the entrance to the area to the elevators and they check everyones key cards. I think it's a great choice.

Niagra Falls is lovely, unpopular opinion,but I actually prefer the American side; more of a park. There are some nice towns you can also visit along the river banks.

We visited both sides of the falls last summer. I think if you're going to the Parks, then the American side is perfect, but I really wasn't impressed with area as a whole. As a child we spent a lot of time there and definitely didn't remember it looking that way. If you're looking for something beautiful inside NYS - Why not head to the Adirondacks? I love the Old Forge area, the leaves will be changing there are tons of small towns / villages on each of the lakes with cute shops and the drive is absolutely gorgeous that time of year.

What is the park like? Are there things to do/see in there? I loved the Canadian side, the view is unbelievable. I remember thinking the NY side didn't seem to have as great a view, but the people were right next to them.

We would probably visit the parks while there. Adirondacks seem good for outdoorsy people, but we are not lol. We really want to visit Niagara again, and with NY being a safe zone, it seems to be the available option. Thanks for the suggestion!

Niagara Falls is beautiful. I've been many times (Buffalo is my hometown). Honestly you won't be disappointed only going to the US side. The falls are breathtaking. Sure, the Canadian side is a bit better but you will still see tons of beauty. Beautiful at night, too. Take the time to walk around the parks over there. I've only walked through the casino once so can't really speak to that. I may be partial but I say go to Buffalo and get some awesome food. Enjoy!!

View Quoted Comment You can walk down the falls, there are platforms where you can feel the power of the water and there is also a ferry. I liked that you could get really close. The view isn't the same, but I enjoyed it.

Oh, ok, I did not realize the state park was the falls lol. When we were on the Canadian side, I did see the walkway right next to the falls, and was like, how do we do that?! My fiance told me it was for the NY side, so that is a must! Thank you!
