Mini-Moon ideas for California?

Napa!

What do you guys like to do?

We've been to Napa and Sonoma a lot. We're actually members at a few wineries. We're getting married in Tahoe and I'm undecided if I want to stay there for the mini-moon as well. Idk lol

I even threw out Harry Potter land just to see FH's reaction . Just as I thought it was an eye roll

I live on the Central Coast so I am biased..but, Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Avila Beach/San Luis Obispo/Los Osos ...so much wine. Los Olivios/Solvang, Santa Barbara. If you go this route I can suggest some fantastic wineries and things to see.

SLO is a fun place :-) but Solvang is intriguing.

We rented a cabin near fallen leaves lake, close to Tahoe. Very romantic and quiet compared to Tahoe. Check it out!

How about Julien down in San Diego? Such a cute town! Oak Glen too Apple picking!

Carmel by the sea, Temecula, Santa Barbara, Paso Robles.

California is a pretty big state. Do you want beach, mountains, wine, city? We've got it all!

Solvang is cute. Los Olivos is a super cute town very close to it, that has some great B&Bs, food, and wine. Plus you are close to Santa Barbara or Avila Beach/SLO. Avila Beach has great farmers market on the board walk on the beach with great food, live music, and fantastic sunsets. Its one of my favorite mini-vac locations.

I want to go somewhere we haven't been. We've explored Sonoma, Napa, Carmel, Big Sur, Santa Cruz, Yosemite. Wine is always good :-)

What about Gualala?

FH said they all sound good; I guess I have to do some research. Thanks for the suggestions

Paso Robles/Cayucos/Hearst Castle

We went to mammoth and it was perfect. We camped at twin lakes. They also have cabins there. If you're outdoorsy there is lots to do! And some really nice restaurants and a great brewery as well

I'm kinda not really wanting Tahoe because FH, my family and I go up there a few times a year. But Solvang and Paso look like possibilities.

Morro Bay or Pismo Beach are also some nice places along the coast, you can still head to Paso Robles for some wine tasting from either place.
