Mini-Moon All-Inclusive for $500 total?

Cornelia, on August 11, 2016 at 8:33 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 8

I know this may be a shot in the dark, but I'm trying to find an all-inclusive resort that could cost around $500 for 3 nights? We are getting married in April, but his parents are buying us a cruise for our honeymoon in September, so I would like to have a little mini-moon the weekend after the wedding, but we don't want to spend very much. We would get the flight with miles so I just need the resort price to be in that range. Any suggestions would help!

Check things like groupon / travelzoo.. Always good deals there. We did something similar.. but we actually went some place fairly local.. We are in AZ, and went to Palm springs for 4 nights. It was far enough away to feel like we weren't in our hometown, but close enough not to feel like we were breaking the bank. I'll bet you can go to a domestic city on a deal. Good luck and congrats!

Try cheapcarribean.com too. You might be able to find some points in your budget.

Book last minute. We do it all the time. Keep checking the prices and when they hit what you want book it. We did 2 weeks in punta cana all inclusive for $1900 total. We have done a week in the Mayan for $755/pp that was after we upgraded to first class there and back.

Those prices are Canadian as well

Cornelia I think it would be challenging at best. Maybe you could do something fun a little closer to home??

Find a nice local hotel with amenities just to get away. Or camp, if you're into that. I bet the chance to be alone after the business of your wedding will be a relief!

Agree with the close to home idea. I used to live right outside Philly and we had a "weekend away" 25 minutes from our apartment by getting a hotel room in the city and visiting tourist stuff we never thought to do normally. Told everyone we were going away but not where so we were left alone for our "trip".
