Mini Honeymoon Ideas

We're from Michigan and enjoy taking road trips, so it makes sense, but we're driving 4 hours to go to Mackinac Island and spending 3 days there doing tourist-y stuff we would normally never do. I don't know how much you know about it, but you take a ferry over because there's no cars allowed on the island, just bikes and horses. They've got a ton of different restaurants and walking/hiking trails. We're staying at one of the resorts with a spa and getting a couple's massage.

And after I wrote all of that up I realized your wedding is in January which is the off season 😂 So completely disregard what I said for your winter trip, and maybe consider going in literally any other season unless you guys are up to driving snowmobiles across a frozen lake to get there.

Girl neither can I lol. We will be walking the majority of our trip. FH said I have to take my bike so we can go around the island once, but I'm sure it'll take three times as long because I'll be struggling.

What about a quick trip to somewhere like Vegas? Or even the Poconos in PA. It will be really pretty there since its the winter season.

How about Sedona Arizona or Flagstaff Arizona? I'm from south of there and its beautiful and can be reasonably priced that time of year. If you have questions feel free to pm me.

We're doing something similar, we're in South Jersey, so we're just going to either do a quick trip to the Poconos or maybe like Nantucket or something for a long weekend. My FH really wants to go to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee so that's an option as well.

That sounds like fun! We're big mountain people, so I'm sure FH would love that.
