Milwaukee on a budget!

Brittany, on June 20, 2018 at 4:31 PM Posted in Wisconsin Planning 0 9
Hey ladies! I'm getting married June of 2020 so I have quite a bit of time, but I'm getting married in Milwaukee so planning should probably start asap I presume. Has anyone came across any affordable Milwaukee wedding venues/ideas? Milwaukee and most of the greater area isnt cheap... I'm struggling! All suggestions appreciated☺

Hi Brittany! Have you tried looking in our Vendor's Section? That's a good place to start! I began a search for you! Here is a list of venues near your location:

    - Venues in Milwaukee

I filtered your results to include the vendors that show their price ranges! You can alter these filters according to date, location, availability, setting, type, and other amenities! Or, you can uncheck the pricing box to see additional vendors, but you would have to contact them for pricing; it's worth a try!

I would also recommend looking into community banquet halls in Milwaukee, as they tend to be very affordable! Good luck!!

Brittany - I am working on Fall of 2020 and we are also on a budget. Depends on the size of your wedding and your budget, really. Tonight we are going to see the Silver Spring golf club. Beautiful venue and reasonable pricing. We are doing a small wedding (probably under 100 guests) and I've found it difficult to find venues to accommodate. Though, we are also looking to have our wedding and reception in the same location...happy planning!

Hi! Another Brittany I see Smiley smile So, we're on a tight budget too, but I'd highly recommend the Farmhouse Paint and Sip. You can find them here on wedding wire and they're located near South 6th and Layton. The people there are very kind and their partnered caterer is the least expensive I've found in my research ($17.50 pp for BBQ). The space rental is 1500 (but we got a special deal where we booked by a certain time and got 250 off), and there's a required bar minimum of 1000.

Hello, have you tried South Shore park pavilion, Hart Park in Tosa, Will-O-Way in Tosa? All beautiful and booked through the parks system. You can bring your own food and liquor.

So it's south of Milwaukee in Racine, but Roma Lodge is really affordable. During off peak times it's free to rent, and during peak times I think it's only 500. I've been to a wedding there and the food was good. I like that they kind of do everything so it's less things I have to think about and coordinate. We are getting married up in Door County in Oct, but we are doing our reception at Roma Lodge in Nov. Linens and everything are included along with some centerpiece options. They also have affordable decorating packages where you get more options. It's worth checking out!

We looked for venues in Milwaukee. Unfortunately most of them that I loved could not seat as many guest as we would have. We decided to go with Green Bay instead. But if you are under 200 or 150 guest there are plenty of reasonable priced and beautiful places. Especially near the river!

If you're willing to go outside of Milwaukee, we're getting married at Orchard Valley Acres in West Bend. It's a BEAUTIFUL rustic barn. It's basically all inclusive. The family that runs it will do host the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, catering, dessert. The only things you have to bring in are the DJ, florist, officiant and photographer. They also offer recommended options for those that you can get a bundle discount by booking. They are actually hosting their Spring Fling on Sunday. You'll be able to taste their food, meet other vendors and see the grounds. Plus if you end up booking with them, they will take the cost of your tickets off final bill.
