Micro wedding

Hello everyone! My fiancé and I are planning to be married in October or November of 2023. We are on the hunt for a reasonably priced ceremony space (preferably outdoors) in mid Michigan. We were looking at Dow Gardens in Midland but they are fully booked for the month we were looking at. We’d like to stay within 30 minutes of midland if possible. It’s been tricky to find the right place because we are hosting a small wedding (25 guests total) and really only need a ceremony space as we will be having a private dinner at a local restaurant in leu of a “traditional” reception. We ARE open to considering a location that could double as ceremony space and small dinner location for our guests. Just trying to avoid food/bev minimums since our party is so small.


The other big issue is that we live in Wisconsin! We work a combined 3 jobs so it’s difficult to drive out to see spaces and sign paperwork. I’ve had a couple issues already with some locations that become unresponsive after I let them know this detail and it has been very disheartening. Thank you so much in advance!
