Maryland Brides - Where did you say yes to your dress?

Jei, on August 7, 2020 at 7:15 PM Posted in Maryland Planning 0 17
Hello lovely Ladies!

So I'm looking to start my adventure to find my wedding dress. I've found a few places online near the Baltimore area, but I'm curious to know if anyone has an suggestion? I'm pretty drawn to Allure Couture dresses, but I'm also very open to different dress styles and wouldn't mind visit a bridal boutique with a larger variety for a decent but fair price. Any thoughts are welcomed.

I live in Maryland. My original dress came from Bridals by Elena. They are in Gambrills, MD. I ended up having it shortened and wore a different dress that I got in Pennsylvania which is where I am from and where we got married.

I live in Maryland. My first wedding dress came from Amanda Ritchey Bridal in Falston, MD. They had great prices and did alterations in house that were not expensive. My second dress I bought in Falls Church, VA at Zoya's Atelier. They were a little pricier but Zoya the owner was amazing. She knew exactly what to put on me and it looked amazing! It was not something I never thought I'd buy.

I went to Cameo Bridal. It is a small business and the owner helped me pick out my dress. I went to Bridal by Elena and Thought it was very stuffy. The bridal boutique was nice and I found a few I liked there, but I loved the Cameo experience. Everyone is very nice.

I went to bridals by elena also and thought the same thing. The owner or manager I guess, thought my budget was too low. Their dresses started at $1200

I visited Cameo Bridal in Glen Burnie and had a great experience. I ended up not buying my dress from them but they were super helpful as I had my mom on Facetime and one friend with me.

I bought my dress from Brides for Haiti in Frederick. It's a shop run by a church with all the dresses donated by boutiques and designers (brand new). All the funds go to their sister church in Haiti. https://brides4haiti.com/

I brought my ceremony dress from Curvaceous Couture Bridal in Columbia and my reception dress from K&B Bridal in Bel Air. I loved both shops, all the ladies were very helpful, not pushy and actually felt like they cared. At Curvaceous, when my dress arrived they actually put it on me with white gloves on lol, the service was perfect. I worked with MyKell (unsure of the correct spelling of her name but she was PERFECT)

I literally went to about 13 bridal shops but those 2 were my fav and they carried exactly what I wanted! Elite Secrets Bridal in Downtown Baltimore was a fav too, the owner is amazing and fun. She made me feel like she was family lol. They have a lot of new, unique dresses and they also have an in house designer who is actually her daughter! Good luck and Congratulations!!!
