Married at First Sight

I have seen the show but definitely not addicted. I've seen weddings similar to that off screen and they havent been very pretty speaking for the relationship itself.

My fiance and I both watch that show! I'm honestly not sure what draws us both into it, since neither of us would ever marry a stranger, but it's definitely interesting to us! I also wouldn't ever want to let someone else completely plan my wedding lol.

I've seen a few episodes but couldn't get into it haha! I'm weird with shows though because I'm also one of those few that LOATHE The Bachelor/Bachelorette. 😂

I don't think I could do that either! Marrying someone I have no previous knowledge of, and being the bride at a wedding I had no say in planning? No thanks hahahaha!

Yes, love it. Yes, I think I could marry a complete stranger. Arranged weddings have less of a failure rate compared to "love" marriages. What I couldn't do is have my marriage featured on reality/national television!!! Lol

Ugh, I am the same with the Bachelor/Bachelorette. Reality TV is my guilty pleasure I guess lol.

Yes, quarantine has gotten me into a lot of shows I wouldn't otherwise look at lol. I wouldn't be able to do it for a lot of reasons, but honestly I'm so shy I wouldn't even make it onto the show :')

I bought he watched the season on Netflix. It was great! I personally couldn’t do it, but kudos to those that did/do

I'm not a fan of the show nor the practice. Too many things happen to women on a daily basis, I'd be terrified.

I honestly don't know. I have thought about the idea of arranged marriage before. But I have no idea how a British woman like me would ever begin to find one without a TV show. 😂

I have watched the first season of that show! man that's INSANE to think that o-o just because it's not even like the bachelor where at least they get weeks to actually get to know that person. or like love is blind where they actually get to "meet" them beforehand o-o

Unfortunately people believe this is how real life goes just because it's on tv and don't realize that it's all scripted for drama and ratings.

I have NOT, but DH used to have roommates who loved it, so he's seen it.

He's told me all it will do is make me very angry, so ... I've stayed away.

IRONY ALERT: ...kinda wanted to marry DH at first sight.

I've seen a few episodes and been embarrassed for the people on them and cringed *hard*.

I don't know that I would be able to marry someone the first time I met them - I mean, even in arranged marriages there's often at least one meeting of the couple before the day of (though not in all cases)
