Hey! So my husband and I had just gotten married in September 16th in Will county Illinois and left for our honeymoon very early the next day. I had someone send in our marriage license about 2 weeks ago now. How long does it take to get it back? I don’t want to miss out on open enrollment for insurance 😂

I'm wondering the same thing! Also -- if you're worried about insurance, you don't have to wait for open enrollment (I'm located in Los Angeles, CA). Marriage constitutes as a life changing event and you'll be able to add a spouse to your insurance whenever during the year. Just contact whoever does your health insurance to let them know you just got married and would like to add a spouse.
