Marriage license venting

I’m getting married in a week. In the state of Louisiana well I didn’t think to get my marriage license to early because it only lasts 30 days. Louisiana is currently going to start “phase 1” this Friday May 15th so I try to get an appointment to get my marriage license for the pass two weeks well according to the clerk of court they are not giving them to the public on for emergency. I don’t understand what circumstances who be concerned an emergency to get married? So they said call this Monday to see if they able to are not I’m not to worry because the justice of peace is coming to marriage is and she’s a judge but I don’t want her to have to go through that to get our license why do they have to be so difficult we only can do drive Thur anyway so ugh 😩.Lastly they are actually doing divorce online so make it make since please someone.

Emergencies are maybe for those who one of the couple or their parents are, *sorry, dying? I’ve seen them getting married per zoom and pass away days later 😢
