I am assuming the marriage was performed by a legal officiant in Ohio, and that you got a marriage license there, which you all signed, and the officiant submitted to the court? If that’s the case, then your marriage is legal in all 50 states.

View Quoted Comment This is the story I got divorced in Mich 9/13/2005 and married the same day in ohio I was married in Ohio in Lucas county court house and then at a wedding reception we did our vows over again in front of family Even tho we got married in ohio on the 13 the judge did not sign it till the 26th and he gave me all the copies Was I supposed to submit them to Wayne county or where they supposed to? for some reason for years I have felt like something is just not right just recently I faxed them to Wayne county I just want things to be right I thank you for clarity I believe the ohio officiant did so in ohio I am not sure if they sent them to michigan
