March 2021 Wedding

My friend is getting married here in VA on March 6th and they are still keeping their original date.

New Jersey on March 27, 2021. We are just waiting on our governor to shut down indoor dining so we can pull out. It's the only way our venue will refund us the money we put in (We're paid up nearly 80% of the total cost).

We have lots of elderly and international guests on our lists, so we felt it would be out of touch if we held a large gathering at the end of March.

We are scheduled for March 6 and hoping to adhere to the 25 person limit that currently exists. We already postposed from April 2020.... it's just so unpredictable that I am torn between planning for the worst versus not worrying until the week beforehand!

You mean the 25% of the room capacity / 150 people right?
I need to send out invites but I’m also ready to just wait till the week before to worry or let them cancel it for me like last year ughhh

Same! I'm a week after you, on the 27th

I was a March 6th bride. Last December I pushed it back to Feb 2022. It's all the venue had left if I wanted a weekend date. It sucks waiting but I don't want a socially distancing mask wedding, and was worried about people not coming. It's a hard decision I know, but i felt it was best to wait so I can have the wedding I want.
