MAC and Smashbox both have good options that fit your criteria! A little pricey, but well worth the money, in my opinion. Both brands were created by professional makeup artists and in the case of Smashbox, professional photographers who weren't satisfied with how the makeup they were using photographed.

With clear communication and trials, hiring an artist from thumbtack will be cheaper in the long run than DIY because you have to factor in time/labor at minimum wage, supplies, your stress level.

I personally love the Tarte Amazonian clay foundation. It is pricey, but every time I wear it, my face looks flawless and stays in place all day.
