I would look at local Instagram accounts (can search hashtags like #oklahomabridalmakeup or # town name wedding and see if vendors are tagged in images) and join wedding Facebook groups in your weddings area! That’s how I found the people I’m using.

Sadly, having a limited portfolio like that is a huge turn off and a red flag. So I don’t blame you for being concerned. But best wishes finding a MUA and I hope it works out well.

So many great suggestions from everyone here. I know this sounds odd, but sometimes you can go to MAC and talk with some of their artist about their makeup style. Typically you'll find someone who does color matching and many applications on all types and tones of skin. To give a little background on myself, I am half white and black and by far I have the fairest skin of all my siblings (that are also my bridesmaids). On here I have found it a little hard to find MUA's that have a diverse portfolio, but that doesn't;t stop me from searching hard for the perfect fit! Good luck on the search girl!
