Hi,
I’m attending a wedding in Highlands, NC in July. I’m not that familiar with the area, so I’m starting from scratch. I’m looking for a makeup artist who can travel if possible(for a fee) or whose close by, and has experience doing African American women’s makeup.

My next stop is to look for more vendors on here, google, and social media.

Hey there!
You should definitely check out the vendors tab for makeup artists in the area. Once you start your search, you can use the ‘Map’ feature to pinpoint your exact location so that you find MUAs closeby. Here are the North Carolina Wedding Hair & Makeup artists that we have listed. I will caution you that often times, MUAs have a minimum number of people/clients in order to travel. This is definitely something that you should ask before booking!
I also find that searching Instagram is a great way to find freelance MUAs.
