Makeup artist gave me a stye?

I just had my makeup trial for my wedding and later that day I noticed I was developing a stye. I’ve never gotten a stye in my whole life so I can only assume it was from the trial and that the makeup artist had unclean makeup or brushes… I’m not sure how to approach this with the artist or if I should try and find someone new. My wedding is 1 month away so I don’t have a lot of options but it really creeped me out. What would you do?

I would reach out to the artist and discuss this immediately! You definitely don’t want dirty or uncleaned items on your face that have been used in someone else. It’s very easy get infections when sharing makeup! I would just talk to her about your experience and ask what your options are. If they are a good makeup artist and one who it truly clean they should be more than willing to help you solve the issue!

On another note! Styes can occur from stress - try hot packing your eye with a warm washcloth for about 10-15 mins! It should help it go away!
